On November 21, 2020, the Undergraduate Academic Exchange Seminar organized by Tianjin University’s School of Science and Tsinghua University’s Department of Chemistry was held online. The seminar lasted three hours and a total of more than 100 students attended it.

Eight undergraduate students from the two schools presented their recent research at the seminar and were subject to the comments and suggestions of teachers and students present. “Today’s reports covered a wide range of research areas, which shows the diverse research interests of our young researcher, and that’s quite promising for building world-class universities,” said Hu Shi, a senior research fellow from TJU’s School of Science. He expressed the hope that students would learn to become good listeners and grasp the skill of introducing their research highlights in plain language.
